Martini 2020 in Erfurt
Usually the martini celebration on the cathedral square is filled with thousands of people.
Many children and adults with lanterns celebrate Martin Luther's birthday together and honor Martin von Tour. This celebration is part of the tradition in Erfurt in the heart of Germany, the center of the Reformation.
Unfortunately, this event could not take place because the corona pandemic is spreading more and more.
Still, a few people were there celebrating the reformer for themselves.
